Attack protection

Attack protection mechanisms safeguard the authentication system against malicious activities, such as brute force attacks, credential stuffing, and unauthorized access attempts.

  • Account Lockout Policies: Automatically lock user accounts after multiple failed login attempts.
  • IP Whitelisting: Restrict login access to specified IP addresses.
  • Suspicious Activity Alerts: Notify administrators of unusual login attempts or access patterns.
  • Rate Limiting: Limit the number of authentication attempts within a given timeframe.

These measures reduce the risk of automated attacks and unauthorized access.
